A study demonstrated the safety and immune response of the "Sputnik V" vaccine among adolescents aged 12-17. Administered at 1/10 and 1/5 doses, the vaccine exhibited strong immunogenicity without severe adverse events. The study revealed that the 1/5 dose produced notably higher humoral and T cell-mediated immune responses than the 1/10 dose. Moreover, the higher dose showed increased efficacy against Delta and Omicron variants. These findings offer potential insights into enhancing vaccination strategies for young individuals against SARS-CoV-2.
