This study investigates how sex influences Alzheimer's disease (AD) progression after amyloid positivity. Using data from 78 participants over 6.8 years, men showed steeper increases in plasma biomarkers such as pTau181, pTau231, and neurofilament light (NfL) compared to women. Men also exhibited faster declines in brain volume and cognitive performance. These findings suggest sex-specific differences in AD pathology and symptom progression post-amyloid onset.
