A study analyzing real-world data from 620 patients with resected metastatic melanoma found that shorter-duration anti-PD1 therapy did not lead to worse recurrence-free survival (RFS) compared to the standard 12-month regimen. Patients who discontinued early due to side effects or other reasons had a 2-year RFS of 72.4%, suggesting potential for reduced treatment duration without compromising outcomes.
