This study examined how patient, treatment, and disease factors affect the quality of life (QOL) of individuals with sinonasal malignancy (SNM) using validated metrics over a 5-year post-treatment timeframe. The study found that all QOL indices were impaired at pre-treatment baseline and improved post-treatment. Endoscopic resection was associated with better QOL, while open resection was associated with worse generalized QOL. Pterygopalatine fossa involvement, adjuvant radiation, neck dissection, and positive margins were associated with worse QOL post-treatment. The study highlights the importance of considering QOL in treatment decisions and counseling for individuals with SNM.
