The study reveals how social determinants such as education, income, and immigrant status influence maternal health outcomes and non-spontaneous delivery. Using data from 596,306 pregnancies in Norway, the findings show that higher educational attainment and income are linked to reduced risks of adverse maternal health outcomes and non-spontaneous delivery. Despite equitable healthcare access, these social factors remain significant risk determinants for maternal health.
