A double-blind, randomized crossover study compared the clinical effects and discomfort of 0.1% and 0.3% hyaluronic acid (HA) eye drops in 60 dry eye disease (DED) patients. Both concentrations improved tear break-up time (TBUT) and corneal staining scores, with 0.3% HA showing better absolute improvement, though not statistically significant. Discomfort levels were similar between formulations.
