Visit rates climbed in tandem with daily PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations, with a particularly marked effect seen for PM10 levels between 80-110 µg/m³, where rate ratios ranged from 1.77 to 2.20. These effects were more pronounced on days with below-average temperatures. PM2.5 showed a similar trend, although the rate ratio gradient was less significant. The study highlights the need for further research into the ocular health risks associated with climate change-related air pollution.
