In a study of adults with subjective cognitive decline, 39 randomized trials compared non-pharmacological interventions. Resistance exercise was most effective for reducing memory complaints, followed by balance, aerobic exercise, and cognitive interventions. Music therapy, cognitive training, and mindfulness improved cognitive function, language skills, daily living, physical health, and anxiety. Physical activities may benefit more than cognitive interventions for managing subjective cognitive decline, emphasizing the need for further validation through large-scale trials.
