A recent study investigated the association between serum uric acid (SUA) and 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) in tHE population, uncovering a statistically significant inverted U-shaped relationship. The analysis identified a critical threshold at 28.82 ng/ml of 25(OH)D. Levels below this threshold were linked to an increased risk of hyperuricemia (odds ratio: 1.0146, p = 0.0148), while levels above it were associated with protective benefits (odds ratio: 0.9616, p = 0.0164). These findings underscore the importance of maintaining vitamin D within an optimal range to manage hyperuricemia effectively and suggest the need for personalized vitamin D supplementation strategies to improve metabolic health outcomes.
