Clozapine, a potent treatment for resistant schizophrenia, displays dosage and concentration variations across populations due to diverse factors. In this study of 3734 psychiatric patients, researchers found the average daily dose, serum concentration, and C/D ratio (concentration/dose) of clozapine to be 191.02 mg/day, 326.15 ng/mL, and 1.94 ng/mL per mg/day, respectively. Gender, age, inpatient/outpatient status, and occupation significantly impacted these measures. Females had higher doses and concentrations. Age influenced dose and ratio, while inpatients and certain occupations showed altered concentrations.
