A recent study assessed a novel minimally invasive surgical technique for excising femoral head and neck lesions in pediatric patients. The study analyzed data from 20 patients and divided them into two groups based on surgical approach; Group A utilized traditional methods, while Group B employed the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA). Results indicated significant differences between groups in incision length, operative blood loss, and duration. Postoperative assessments revealed consistent positive outcomes in hip function across all patients. The findings support the efficacy of the DAA in treating such lesions, offering precise exposure, minimal tissue disruption, and preservation of anterior musculature integrity.
