The study, involving 25 patients at a Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD) clinic, compared traditional in-person Orofacial Pain (OFP) and TMD visits with teledentistry experiences. Patients under 35 (64%) and mostly female (80%) participated. While 76% were familiar with virtual platforms, results showed no significant difference in patient satisfaction between virtual and in-person visits. Teledentistry, using ZOOM Premium, proved effective, suggesting it could be seamlessly integrated into TMD clinics, offering time and cost savings for patients amid increasing dental waitlists.
