A study explores the efficacy and safety of Endostar, a potent angiogenesis inhibitor, in treating non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients resistant to EGFR inhibition. The study was conducted from January 2016 to June 2018 with 68 participants across four institutions; the study administered Endostar alongside chemotherapy. The Endostar pump continuous group demonstrated improved progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) compared to the intravenous infusion group. The disease control rate (DCR) was 79.4%, with manageable adverse events, predominantly myelosuppression, weakness, and nausea/vomiting. Endostar emerges as an effective and well-tolerated treatment for advanced NSCLC, particularly in EGFR-mutant cases.
