A study assessed the efficacy of P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy versus 12-month dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stents. Among 1387 patients, P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy after 3 months of DAPT was non-inferior to 12-month DAPT for net adverse clinical events. Major bleeding occurred less frequently with P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy. These findings suggest that P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy may offer a comparable alternative to prolonged DAPT in patients undergoing PCI with the latest drug-eluting stents.

Educational and communication-based screen time were associated with lower odds of delays in selected developmental domains. However, differences in assessment protocols, muscle sites, and sarcopenia definitions prevented pooled analysis. Standardization and further validation are required before routine clinical use.
