The study analyzes the efficacy and failure patterns of reducing target volume based on tumor regression in locoregionally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) after neoadjuvant therapy. The results showed promising 5-year survival rates with no out-of-field failures. Local recurrence occurred within the prescribed 60 Gy dose, supporting the feasibility of targeting the residual tumor and reducing the dose to regressed areas.
