The synthetic anti-freeze glycoprotein compound, TFC-1326, was evaluated for its effects on human skin health and aging. In vitro studies showed TFC-1326 mitigates proinflammatory damage, restores adipogenic capacity, and enhances fibroblast viability, hyaluronic acid production, and procollagen synthesis. It also reduced IL6 secretion in stressed skin cell environments. A clinical study involving 20 women aged 40-65 revealed that daily application of 1% TFC-1326 cream for 84 days improved skin radiance, density, and laxity, with noticeable reductions in crow's feet wrinkle volume and depth. These findings demonstrate that TFC-1326 significantly enhances skin physiology and appearance, presenting a promising tool for anti-aging skin care.
