The study analyzed data from 13,807 SGLT2 inhibitor users and 28,524 DPP-4 inhibitor users, matching them based on various factors. Results showed no significant difference in the risk of any fracture or major osteoporotic fractures between the two groups. This suggests that SGLT2 inhibitors are a safe option for patients with diabetes, as they do not increase the risk of fractures. The study's findings contribute valuable insights into the safety of these medications for diabetic patients.
