This Delphi study was planned to examine global expert consensus about the utility, accuracy, and categorization of the bladder contractility index (BCI), bladder outlet obstruction index (BOOI), and the related evidence. The present manuscript deals with adult women and follows a previous report on adult men. Experts had significant concerns about using the male BCI and BOOI in adult women despite general recognition of the need for numerical indices of contractility and obstruction. A systematic search showed a striking lack of evidence in this regard.
