The study investigated the relationship between postpartum women's sleep quality, their perception of insufficient milk, and their attitude towards breastfeeding. The cross-sectional study included 347 mothers who completed a personal information form, the Postpartum Sleep Quality Scale (PSQS), Perception of Insufficient Milk (PIM) Questionnaire, and the Breastfeeding Attitude Rating Scale (BAAS). The results showed a significant negative relationship between the total mean score of the PSQS and the mean total score of both the PIM and BAAS. Additionally, age, education level, mode of birth, and breastfeeding experience were found to be correlated with the PIM score. The study highlights the need to support mothers in improving their sleep quality, as inadequate milk perception can negatively impact their breastfeeding attitudes.
