This study aims to identify the impact of gender on the clinical outcomes of endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) by comparing the quality of life measures in female and male patients who undergo surgical treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). Among the 1268 patients (54% female) enrolled, 789 and 343 completed postoperative surveys at one and five years, respectively. Females with CRS reported more severe symptoms both before and five years after surgery compared to their male counterparts. Understanding the mechanism behind these gender‐related differences is essential for optimizing CRS treatment.
