The study aimed to investigate whether women with PCOS have more weight-loss attempts and different weight perceptions compared to women without PCOS. The study included women with and without PCOS who were examined at ages 31 and 46. Results showed that women with PCOS had more weight-loss attempts and a higher perception of being overweight, even among those with normal weight, compared to control individuals. These findings suggest that PCOS may be associated with weight-related issues beyond just obesity.
