This study investigates tinnitus prevalence among adolescents and its association with systemic diseases. Analyzing data from the 5th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, researchers found a 21.7% prevalence of tinnitus. Significant links were identified between tinnitus and factors such as age, vitamin D levels, and anaemia. The study highlights the need to consider these factors in developing effective treatment strategies for adolescent tinnitus.
