A systematic review and meta-analysis of 252 patients revealed that transoral robotic surgery (TORS) significantly improved sleep outcomes—reducing apnoea-hypopnea index and sleepiness scores—and enhanced various quality of life (QoL) measures, including urinary and sexual health. Swallowing returned to normal within 3 months, and complications were minor. TORS may be a viable personalized treatment for obstructive sleep apnoea.
