
After the second Karabakh War, a training program was launched to implement Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD. Forty-two clinicians participated, showing improved perceptions of therapy effectiveness and reduced perceived risks. No significant differences were observed between CPT and WET groups. These preliminary findings support the feasibility of trauma-focused therapy expansion in Azerbaijan’s mental health system.
