The study explored the use of Transcatheter Leadless Pacemakers (TLP) as an alternative option for pediatric patients and those with congenital heart disease who may not be suitable for traditional surgical procedures. This study collected data from the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society TLP registry. Results showed successful implantation in 62 out of 63 registry patients, with minimal complications, including one cardiac perforation, one non-conclusive femoral venous thrombus, and one device retrieval and replacement due to high thresholds. No deaths, TLP infections, or device embolizations were reported, and electrical parameters remained stable.
