A prospective registry study of 304 RRP patients in the UK NHS found that children exhibited more severe disease than adults. Microdebrider surgery was the most common intervention, especially in children (86%), with lasers used more in adults (34%). Gardasil was the most common adjuvant therapy. Complications were rare, with 10.8% of children and 5.9% of adults experiencing issues. Five patients developed laryngeal malignancy, and six deaths occurred during follow-up. The study highlights the safe and effective management of RRP with minimal complications.
