
The US FDA has granted approval to Pfizer's RSV vaccine for pregnant women in their third trimester, providing protection for infants. This vaccine can be administered between weeks 32 to 36 of pregnancy and is designed to prevent lower respiratory infections in infants up to six months old. The FDA's approval is backed by an 82% effective trial.
