Results from 110 patients who underwent centrally reviewed scans between February 2017 and July 2020 revealed that both pre- and post-pembrolizumab VI-RADS scores between 0-3 significantly predicted the ypT≤1N0 endpoint. Post-pembrolizumab VI-RADS 0-3 also correlated with improved event-free survival and overall survival. The study emphasized the potential of VI-RADS as a crucial component for future research and trials focusing on muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
