Vizag hospital successfully saves the patient suffering from Fulminant Guillain-Barré syndrome

A patient suffering from Fulminant Guillain-Barré syndrome, one of the most severe forms of dysautonomia, has been successfully treated and is close to being discharged after a 68-day stay in the ICU at a hospital in Visakhapatnam. The patient, Manikeswar Prasad, was paralyzed and could only communicate through his eyes. The doctors faced numerous challenges during treatment. However, the timely interventions by neurologist Rajkumar Ponnana, critical care in charge Rajasekhar, and Dr. Sateesh Chandra Alavala helped save the patient's life on multiple occasions.
