The study aimed to investigate the voiding dynamics of female patients with pelvic organ prolapse (POP). A total of 373 patients were included in the study, with 189 having varying degrees of POP and 184 not having any prolapse. Logistic regression analysis revealed that older age, weaker pelvic floor muscle strength, a more frequent symptom of hesitancy, prolonged-shaped free urine flow curve pattern, and higher PdetQmax values were the different independent features of the patients with prolapse. The study concluded that the voiding dynamics of patients with prolapse were significantly different from those without prolapse, with lower free flow Qmax values and higher PdetQmax values in patients with severe prolapse.
