Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) is the optimal treatment for SSFB, and most patients had good prognosis with no recurrence of SSFB after FESS. However, regular endoscopic follow‐up is required due to the possibility of the postoperative closure of sphenoid ostium.
