A multicenter study validated the Automated Imaging Differentiation for Parkinsonism (AIDP) using 3-T MRI and machine learning to distinguish Parkinson’s disease (PD), multiple system atrophy (MSA), and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). The model demonstrated high accuracy (AUROC up to 0.98) and was confirmed by postmortem analysis, supporting its potential in clinical diagnostic workups.
