This retrospective ICU study evaluated cardiovascular adverse reactions to dexmedetomidine in cirrhosis patients. Using ALBI grade to stratify liver disease severity, the study found that higher ALBI grades were significantly associated with increased odds of clinically significant cardiovascular adverse drug reactions (CS CV-ADRs). Findings suggest ALBI grade may guide risk assessment and dose adjustment for dexmedetomidine in cirrhotic patients.
