The present study aimed to investigate the effects of block play on the creativity of children. The findings indicated a statistically significant difference between the pre-and post-test mean scores for the subtests, attention to detail, acceptance of differences, fluency, originality, and total creative skills of the children in the experimental group when compared to both control groups. It was concluded that the block play intervention positively affected the stages of block building and children's creative skills.

As a single-arm study, the findings are descriptive and require controlled confirmation.

The findings support phenotype-informed risk assessment and personalized prevention and treatment.
