Analyzing County‐level Social Vulnerabilities of Head and Neck Melanomas in the United States

A retrospective cohort study of 374,138 patients examined the disparities in head-neck melanoma based on social vulnerabilities across the United States. The results showed that as social vulnerability increased, there were significant decreases in months of follow-up/surveillance and survival for various types of head-neck melanoma. The study emphasized the importance of social determinants of health (SDH) in head-neck melanoma outcomes.
