Anlotinib shows promise in refractory R/M HNSCC. In 24 patients progressing after immune checkpoint inhibitors and cetuximab, anlotinib-based therapy achieved a 37.5% response rate. Median progression-free and overall survival were 4.27 and 8.67 months, respectively. Common side effects included hypertension and fatigue, with 12.5% experiencing severe toxicity. These findings suggest anlotinib as a well-tolerated, viable later-line treatment option.
