Anti-VEGF injections may increase the risk of ocular hypertension (OHT) and glaucoma. In a retrospective case-control study, patients treated with bevacizumab or ranibizumab for neovascular AMD or diabetic macular edema showed higher intraocular pressure (IOP) and increased prevalence of OHT, sustained elevated IOP (SE-IOP), and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) compared to age-matched controls. The risk increased with the number of injections. Further prospective studies are needed to confirm this association.

Educational and communication-based screen time were associated with lower odds of delays in selected developmental domains. The findings highlight the importance of limiting recreational screen exposure and encouraging age-appropriate, interactive digital activities.
