The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine, especially urology, has grown in recent years, benefiting patient workflow, diagnostic accuracy, and image analysis. However, before expanding AI implementation, ethical concerns must be addressed to safeguard patients and providers. Key ethical considerations include patient safety, cybersecurity, data transparency, inclusivity, responsibility, and preserving providers' decision-making autonomy. To ensure proper utilization and policy-making, ethical principles are proposed to guide urologists, patients, and regulators in the application of AI in healthcare and urology, fostering understanding and responsible use of AI technologies.
