A study at Chinese PLA General Hospital finds the Aspiration and Coagulation (AC) method effective in reducing delayed bleeding after gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Analyzing data from 2016 to 2021, 242 matched pairs revealed significantly lower rates of massive hemorrhage and overall delayed bleeding in the AC group compared to the control group. The method shows promise in enhancing post-ESD recovery, particularly in mucosal lesions, emphasizing its potential to improve patient outcomes.
