In a study, dupilumab showcases sustained efficacy and safety for children aged 6-11 with uncontrolled, moderate-to-severe asthma. The study involved 365 children continuing dupilumab treatment, with 240 in the dupilumab/dupilumab group and 125 transitioning from placebo to dupilumab. The results reveal a well-tolerated, consistent safety profile over the extended period, with 63.6% experiencing at least one treatment-emergent adverse event. The most common issues were nasopharyngitis, pharyngitis, and upper respiratory tract infections.
