The study focuses on the relationship between microvasculature dropout and central retinal vessel trunk displacement in primary open-angle glaucoma. Analyzing 112 patients' eyes, it finds that eyes with microvasculature dropout had a larger central retinal vessel trunk shift index compared to those without dropout. The angular circumference of dropout was linked to the shift index. The location of dropout and central vessel trunk were significantly correlated, suggesting that microvasculature dropout might relate to the structural stability of the lamina cribrosa in glaucoma patients' eyes.
