The study analyzed Global Burden of Disease data (1990–2019), revealing increasing asthma incidence (+10.2%) and prevalence (+0.37% annually) in the US, while global rates declined (-13% incidence, -24.1% prevalence). Mortality dropped by ~50% in both settings. Gender disparities persisted, with females exhibiting higher prevalence and males higher mortality. Findings underscore the need for targeted interventions and international collaboration.
