The study aimed to evaluate the oncologic and obstetric outcomes of women with epithelial ovarian cancer who underwent fertility-sparing surgery. 68 patients were included in the study, and disease-free survival, overall survival, and obstetric outcomes were measured as primary outcomes. The study found that fertility preservation is safe for invasive epithelial ovarian cancer at early stages for women in the reproductive era. Disease recurrence and overall survival results were similar to standard treatment at early stages with decent obstetric outcomes. The study also found that the FIGO stage was the only significant factor that affected overall survival.
