
The study assessed how blade design and metallurgy impact nickel-titanium (NiTi) endodontic instruments. Conventional blade instruments (CC One Blue) showed superior mechanical performance—including fracture resistance, torque, and cutting efficiency—compared to flat-sided (Platinum V.EU) and hybrid (Flash) designs. Design inconsistencies and lower performance metrics in nonconventional blades highlight the need for quality control and suggest conventional designs may offer more reliable clinical outcomes.
