This is a prospective, randomized clinical trial investigating the effectiveness of an automated closed-loop oxygen administration system (O2matic) in maintaining normoxia for patients admitted with cardiovascular and/or pulmonary conditions. The trial compared the automatic closed-loop oxygen administration system (O2matic) to conventional oxygen treatment, with the primary outcome being the time patients spend within the desired peripheral capillary oxygen saturation interval of 92-96%.
