CCB and outcomes in patients with heart failure and mildly reduced and preserved ejection fraction

This study revealed that CCB use, particularly dihydropyridines, was not associated with higher risks of death and heart failure hospitalization. Interestingly, the risk of pump failure death was lower in CCB-treated patients, while the risk of stroke was higher. These findings suggest that CCBs may not be associated with worse heart failure outcomes.
