The study evaluated continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) versus self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) in 30 patients with chronic pancreatitis and insulin-treated diabetes. CGM reduced time in level 2 hypoglycaemia by −0.36% and improved time in range by 7.46%. It also decreased time above range (−6.55%) and time below range (−0.91%) compared to SMBG. CGM showed significant improvements in glycaemic control.
