Chest wall mobilization (CWM) significantly improved exercise capacity, respiratory muscle efficiency, and oxygenation in individuals with severe COPD. A 6-week program showed reduced overactivity of accessory muscles, better oxygen extraction, and increased tolerance from <3 METS to 4–6 METS. These benefits persisted at 3-month follow-up, highlighting CWM as a valuable addition to COPD rehabilitation, enhancing respiratory muscle function and overall quality of life.
