A recent study aimed to elucidate the clinical, diagnostic, and treatment features of orbital liposarcoma. The study analyzed data from 21 patients through electronic medical records, histopathology, and radiological images, and findings revealed painless exophthalmos as a prominent clinical manifestation. Well-differentiated and myxoid liposarcomas were prevalent, with radiographic irregularities seen in the former. Surgical excisions alone showed varying recurrence rates, emphasizing the efficacy of combining surgery with adjuvant radiotherapy. Notably, myxoid liposarcoma exhibited heightened sensitivity to radiotherapy compared to well-differentiated counterparts, indicating potential treatment nuances.
