Clinical efficacy of the mulligan maneuver for cervicogenic headache: a randomized controlled trial

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Mulligan maneuver in treating cervicogenic headache (CEH) by evaluating pain intensity and mood changes in patients. Forty CEH patients were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group. The treatment group received the Mulligan maneuver daily for 10 sessions, while the control group received health education. Results showed significant improvements in pain intensity and mood in the treatment group, as assessed by Visual Analog Scale, Hamilton Anxiety Scale, and Hamilton Depression Scale. Brain imaging indicated changes in specific regions correlating with clinical measures.
